With the cable cars you can easily reach the tops of the surrounding mountains. In this way you get an access to interesting trails, numerous viewpoints and a good opportunity to enjoy a snack with a cold beer in one of the cozy mountain huts.
The Lechtaler mountain railway is a double chair lift. It takes you up to 1800 m above the sea level in the direction to Jöchelspitze. There you will find Sonnalm – a nice mountain restaurant with a terrace offering a beautiful view from above. An alpine flower trail leads up to the Bergheumuseum and then hiking trails continue in all directions.
The Rüfikopfbahn, Schlegelkopfbahn and the Oberlecher Bergbahn bring hikers from Lech up to many other popular starting points for hiking trails, such as Rüfikopf, Kriegerhorn and Auenfeld.
The Steffisalp Express is a 6-seater chairlift which is located in Warth. The lift takes you up to approx. 2000 m above sea level. From there you can start a beautiful hiking tour in direction to Lech or to Hochalpe-Körbersee-Hochkrumbach.
