The Lechweg

Lechweg offers the long-distance hiking trail for beginners through the Lechtal Nature Park region – from the source to the fall. It is over 120 km from the source area of the river Lech on the Arlberg (Vorarlberg) until the Bavarian river Lech case near city Füssen (Germany). You will get to know the Tyrolean Lechtal nature park region as the last wild river landscape in Europe in its original nature and legendary stories. Sektion 3-10 lead entirely through the Tyrolean Lech Valley (Lechtal).

E5 - the European long-distance path

A dream for all hiking fans. The E5 long-distance trail starts in France on the Atlantic coast and leads across the Alps to Verona in Italy. Over a total distance of 3,200 km, the European long-distance hiking trail extends in different directions through the countries of France, Switzerland, Austria, Germany and Italy. The Tyrolean Lech Valley is also a part of this gigantic long-distance hiking trail; it crosses the Allgäu Alps via the Kemptnerhütte and leads via the Lechtal Alps to the Memminger Hütte up to Zams.

The Adlerweg (Adlerway)

Different stages of the Adlerway lead through the whole of Tyrol, from St. Johann in Unterland to St. Anton on Arlberg. Overall it is a great long-distance network with various routes for connoisseurs, families and nature lovers. The way offers Routes of variable difficulty degrees and height differences. On the 1,480 km of the Adlerway, various stages lead through the Lechtal Alps, as well as through the Lech Valley (Lechtal) itself.
